Refunds & Returns Policy — Blue Gum Concepts

At Blue Gum Concepts, we take pride in delivering high‑quality engineering design, CAD modelling, and 3D printing services. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Overview

This policy applies to all services and physical products provided by Blue Gum Concepts, including:

  • CAD design and modelling

  • Engineering consultation

  • 3D printing and prototyping

  • Custom design projects

By engaging our services or purchasing products, you agree to this policy.

2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a remedy if:

  • A product or service fails to meet consumer guarantees

  • The item is faulty, defective, or not as described

  • The service is not delivered with due care and skill

We will always comply with these legal obligations.

3. Refunds for Services

Refunds for services are available only when:

  • The service was not delivered as agreed

  • There was a major failure or significant error on our part

Refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind

  • Completed design work or digital files

  • Delays caused by external factors (e.g., supply chain, client revisions)

If an issue arises, we will work with you to correct or re‑deliver the service promptly.

4. Refunds for Physical 3D‑Printed Products

We inspect all prints before delivery to ensure quality. However, if a product is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it.

Refunds or replacements are available if:

  • The item is defective or damaged in transit

  • The print does not match the approved design specifications

Refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind

  • Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish

  • Design errors caused by incorrect client‑supplied files

We may request photos or return of the item for inspection before processing a refund or replacement.

5. How to Request a Refund or Return

Include:

  • Your name and contact details

  • Order or project reference

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

We will respond within 3 business days.

6. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for funds to appear in your account.

7. Custom and Made‑to‑Order Items

Because our 3D prints and designs are custom‑made, refunds for change of mind cannot be offered. We will, however, assist with adjustments or reprints if there is a genuine defect or error.

8. Amendments

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
